Viscoelastic properties of pNIPAM-hydrogels: A mode-coupling theory

We investigate the viscoelastic properties of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPAM) hydrogels cross-linked with glutaraldehyde by means of small amplitude oscillatory and steady shear experiments in dependence on the frequency and shear rate. These properties are strongly influenced by the ratio of monomer and glutaraldehyde as a cross-linker.

Abstract. We show through an exact numerical solution of the phonon Boltzmann equation that the lattice thermal conductivity of graphene is dominated by contributions from the out-of-plane or flexural phonon modes, previously thought to be negligible. We connect this unexpected result to the anomalously large density of states of flexural
